I founded Blackline Capital Partners after spending my career inside the finance function of one of Europe's largest Toyota and Lexus dealer groups — promoted to Sales Controller at 22, then Sales Manager at 23, moving through management on the back of consistent commercial results rather than time served.
Over that time I've managed more than 160 vehicle finance proposals a month, built direct relationships with underwriters across Toyota Financial Services and a wider lender panel, and taken ownership of FCA compliance and audit governance for one of the group's flagship sites.
I'm SAF Expert Certified and trained continuously in Consumer Duty, Treating Customers Fairly and financial crime prevention — I've spent as much time structuring lending decisions as I have securing them.
Alongside retail finance I've focused heavily on the commercial side — supporting corporate and fleet acquisitions from single vehicles to high-volume orders, structuring Lease Purchase, PCH and BCH funding, and advising owners on VAT- and tax-efficient funding routes. As Fleet Business Champion I built a network of corporate clients from the ground up, and earlier in my career I founded and scaled a technology business through to a successful acquisition — experience that shaped how I negotiate and structure commercial deals today.
I'm also completing a BSc (Hons) in Economics with the Open University alongside running the business — because the better I understand markets, credit and risk, the better the outcomes I can build for clients.
Blackline exists because I saw, from inside the industry, how much better a finance broker relationship works when it's personal, fast and genuinely independent. That's the standard I hold every case to.
